Kevin Summersill

Kevin Summersill has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Kevin began their career as a Senior PHP Developer for the State of Alabama in 2004, where they designed multiple PHP websites. Kevin then worked as a Computer Professional for OnForce from 2005 to 2007 and as a Graphic Design Specialist for Chicago Flag in 2007. Kevin also gained experience as a Computer Technician at 21st Century Computing, where they repaired computer systems and installed software and hardware.

In 2007, Kevin joined NASA as a Satellite Communications Technician, managing NASA TV Station satellites and providing customer education on equipment usage. Kevin also worked as a Software Engineer at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, supporting Safety Mission and Assurance projects.

From 2010 to 2018, Kevin worked at General Dynamics Information Technology as a Functional Analyst and Business Analyst, managing the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Information Management System (EODIMS) and providing support for the Fire Department's emergency management and dispatch application. Kevin also provided SQL data trends analysis and served as a Subject Matter Expert for EOD operations.

Kevin's experience in the defense sector continued when they joined IndraSoft, Inc. in 2014 as a Senior Functional Analyst, where they led and managed the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Information Management System (EODIMS) and performed software quality control.

Most recently, Kevin has been working as the VP Enterprise Solutions Architect at Appddiction Studio since 2018. In this role, they have been transforming various organizations, including the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs, into highly innovative machines. Kevin has expertise in development, CI/CD, Agile methodologies, security, and microservices.

Kevin Summersill's education history is as follows:

Kevin attended Arab High School from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained an Advance Degree in General Studies.

From 2006 to 2013, Kevin studied at the Community College of the Air Force, earning an Associate's Degree in Construction Management.

In 2008 and 2009, Kevin attended Wallace State Community College - Hanceville, focusing on Computer Science.

From 2009 to 2010, Kevin pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Business at Columbia College (SC), specializing in Business and Science.

Kevin then enrolled at the Community College of the Air Force for the second time from 2015 to 2017, earning another Associates degree, this time in Management Science.

Finally, from 2016 to 2019, Kevin attended Auburn University at Montgomery, where they obtained an MBA in Business Administration with a focus on Information Technology and a minor in Marketing.

In addition to their formal education, Kevin has acquired various certifications throughout their career.
