Maayan Fishelov

Maayan Fishelov is a seasoned Mobile Security Researcher at Appdome since April 2023, with a robust background in cybersecurity. Prior experience includes serving as a Security Researcher at SCADAfence from October 2018 to February 2023, where responsibilities involved protecting Industrial Control Systems from cyber threats and developing detection methods for attacks using Python and Snort/Suricata signatures. Earlier roles include developing a honeypot system at TrapX Security, where the focus was on creating deceptive services to lure attackers; working as a Low Level Developer at Cyvera Ltd., focused on low-level C code for 0-day prevention; and protecting Android devices from malware at zImperium. Fishelov's foundational experience began with military service in the Israel Defense Forces, where participation in an advanced cyber security unit reinforced skills in offensive cyber operations. Maayan Fishelov holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from The Open University of Israel, attained in 2007.
