Frank Ying

Frank Ying has over 15 years of work experience in the marketing and consulting industry. Frank began their career in 2002 as a Summer Internship at The Linksys Group, a division of Belkin International. In 2005, they joined Mclaughlin, Piven, Vogel Securities, Inc. as a Sr. Fixed Income and Growth Specialist, where they independently acquired and managed a multi-million dollar book of clients. In 2008, they joined GCiS China Strategic Research as the VP of Global Business Development, where they drove profitable growth among new and existing clients, strengthened client retention among key MNC accounts, improved internal operations and process efficiency, and led training and team building. In 2013, they founded and became the Managing Director of Athos Ventures, a marketing consulting firm focused on the U.S. and Asia. Finally, in 2016, they joined Appfigures as the Head of Growth.

Frank Ying attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2000 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics and Business Administration. Frank then attended Beijing Language and Culture University from 2007 to 2008, where they earned an Advanced Chinese - International Program in Chinese Language and Literature. Finally, they attended New York University from 2015 to 2016, where they earned a Financial Analysis in Finance.
