Kurt Belter

Kurt Belter is an experienced procurement manager with a strong background in large-scale industrial projects. Currently serving as the Projects Procurement Manager at AppHarvest since November 2020, Kurt focuses on advancing indoor farming through innovative agricultural practices and technology. Prior to this, Kurt held various procurement roles at Bechtel Oil, Gas, & Chemicals from 2009 to 2020, including overseeing procurement operations for the Shell Pennsylvania Chemical Project and the Wheatstone LNG project in Australia. Kurt's career at Bechtel began in 1982 and included significant management responsibilities across multiple petrochemical and refining projects. Kurt holds a B.S. in Industrial Technology with a concentration in Production and Quality Management from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
