Kathryn Allen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Kathryn began their career as an Audit Department Assistant at Old Point National Bank in 2008, where they conducted audits for various departments. Kathryn then worked as a Lifestyle Intern at Harrison & Shriftman in 2010, assisting with media databases, creating press materials, and pitching ideas to media outlets.
In 2011, Kathryn held two positions. First, as a Search Revelator at Touchstorm, they performed marketing research and used data to create how-to videos. Kathryn then became an Account Executive at Snagajob, managing the sales process and maintaining client relationships.
From 2012 to 2013, Kathryn worked as a Design Consultant at PoshTots, providing sales assistance and building relationships with luxury buyers. In 2013, they became a Customer Service Manager at Modern Living LLC, before moving on to APPI Energy in 2014.
At APPI Energy, Kathryn first served as Manager, Marketing Services, focused on energy cost reduction and procurement services. Kathryn then transitioned to the role of Senior Relationship Specialist, Business Development, working with associations and chambers of commerce to increase member engagement and revenue. Currently, they hold the position of Director, Strategic Partnerships at APPI Energy.
Kathryn Allen completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing at William & Mary from 2007 to 2011. Kathryn attained their BBA from the Raymond A. Mason School of Business within the same institution.
