Dong Shen

Dong Shen is a managing partner at Appian Way Energy Partners since July 2014, bringing extensive experience in the energy sector. Previously, Dong served as a senior energy trader and manager of Financial Transmission Rights at Edison Mission Marketing & Trading from January 2007 to June 2014, focusing on locational markets within the PJM and ERCOT electricity markets. Before this role, Dong was the manager of optimization and strategy at Edison Mission Marketing and Trading, where responsibilities included market analysis of the PJM market and facilitating the company's entry into the PJM FTR market. Dong began a career as a marketing representative at Lucent from 1999 to 2001 and worked as an analyst at Putnam Hayes and Bartlett from July 1998 to July 1999. Dong holds a degree from Dartmouth College, where studies took place from 1994 to 1998.
