Jafar Hasan

Jafar Hasan started their work experience in 2009 as a Technology Evangelist at Appin Technology Lab. Jafar then worked as an Information Security Consultant and Sr. Technology Evangelist at the company from 2010 to 2011. In 2018, Jafar became the Chief Technology Officer at Appin.

Jafar Hasan obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Information Technology from Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, where they studied from 2003 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, they hold several certifications in the field of cybersecurity and IT. These include certifications such as CISSP Cert Prep, CWL Certified Cyber Security Analyst, Certified in Cybersecurity (CC), Foundation Level Threat intelligence Analyst, OPSWAT Data Transfer Security Associate, OPSWAT File Security Associate, and Certified Red Team Professional (CRTP), among others. Jafar obtained these certifications from institutions such as LinkedIn, CW Labs Pvt. Ltd., (ISC)², arcX, OPSWAT, OPSWAT Academy, TÜV Rheinland Group, Pentester Academy, EC-Council Foundation, Microsoft, and Concise Courses USA. Jafar'smost recent certification was the CISSP Cert Prep in Asset Security, obtained in August 2023.
