Alice Luong

Alice Luong has a diverse work experience in the field of biomedical science. Alice started their career as a Graduate Student at UC San Diego in 2005, where they conducted research on antibody drug conjugates and developed acid-sensitive linkers for therapeutics. Alice then joined Targeson Inc in 2012 and worked as a Scientist, focusing on lipid microparticle composition development and bioconjugation chemistries. During their tenure, they successfully commercialized five products, developed two clinical product candidates, and filed two patent applications. In 2016, Alice joined Applaud Medical, Inc. as a Scientist and later transitioned to the role of Head of Lipid Chemistry. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Technical Operations at the same company.

Alice Luong completed their education in a chronological order. Alice first attended Aim High from 1995 to 1997, but no degree or field of study is specified for this period. Alice then attended the University of California, Davis from 2001 to 2005, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S) in Biochemistry. Afterwards, they pursued higher education at UC San Diego, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S) in Chemistry and Biochemistry from 2005 to 2007. Finally, they continued at UC San Diego to complete their Doctorate (Ph.D) in Chemistry and Biochemistry from 2005 to 2011.
