Raúl Chacón Ocampo

Raúl Chacón Ocampo has a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology industry. Raúl is currently working at Applaudo Studios as the Head of Technology, a role they have held since March 2022. Before that, they served as the Head of Engineering from December 2020 to March 2022. Prior to joining Applaudo Studios, Raúl worked at Phunware, Inc. where they held the position of Developer Manager from August 2017 to September 2019. Raúl also worked as a Senior Android Developer at the same company from July 2014 to August 2017. Raúl's experience also includes a role as a Senior Software Engineer at Prodigious Latin America from June 2013 to March 2014. Raúl started their career as a Software Engineer at Avantica Technologies from January 2010 to January 2011. Additionally, Raúl has experience as a Software Engineer at Growth Acceleration Partners from January 2012 to June 2013, where they worked on various Android and iOS application projects and took on different roles such as main developer and tech lead.

Raúl Chacón Ocampo earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Tecnológico de Costa Rica from 2007 to 2011. Raúl also obtained additional certifications including Lean Change Agent - Explorer from the Lean Change Management Association, and Management 3.0 Foundation Workshop from Management 3.0 in the year 2022.
