Devon J Shedlock

Devon J Shedlock currently serves as the Vice President and Head of Oncology Cell Therapy Technology at Genentech since August 2025. Prior to this role, Devon held several key positions at Poseida Therapeutics, Inc., including Chief Scientific Officer of Cell Therapy, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing the discovery and development of cell-based therapies for various diseases. Devon's extensive experience in immuno-oncology, gene therapy, and preclinical development includes advancing multiple CAR-T immunotherapies from concept to clinic. Academic contributions include serving as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania and leadership roles in T Cell Engineering research. Devon earned a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and a BS with Honors in Biology from Ursinus College.
