Anindya Sarkar

Anindya Sarkar is a seasoned Deep Learning Research Engineer at Apple since January 2018, with extensive experience in imaging science and computer vision. Prior roles include Staff Imaging Scientist and Senior Imaging Scientist at Ventana Medical Systems, where Anindya led projects from prototyping through production-level code implementation. Anindya's career began at BioImagene as an Imaging Scientist, following a post-doctoral research position at the University of California, Santa Barbara, focusing on digital image forensics and steganography. Anindya holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and has contributed to Google's Video Content Analysis Group as a software intern.
