Brian Haskins is a mechanical engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Brian has extensive experience in various roles within engineering, starting as a General Laborer at Ferraz Shawmut and progressing to a Mechanical Design Engineer at Sensata Technologies, where designs focused on automotive pressure sensors. Further experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at UMass, as a Junior Applications Engineer at East Coast Metrology, and as an NSF REU Researcher at the University of Puerto Rico, where research involved thermotropic liquid crystalline polymer nano-composites.
