David Southwick is currently the Director of the Vision Products Group, overseeing visionOS Quality Assurance at Apple since 2023. Previously, David held various roles at Apple from 2010 to 2013, including iPad Systems QA Manager, where they managed the QA team focused on hardware and software integration for iPad devices. David also served as the Mobile Devices Systems QA Manager, leading a team of over 30 members across the US and China to ensure the quality of iPad, iPhone, and iPod products. Additionally, David worked as a System Test Engineering QA Manager, managing compatibility and integration QA teams for Mac OS X and associated hardware systems. David earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from San Jose State University in 2004.
