Gaurav Punjabi

Gaurav Punjabi is a Systems Software Engineer at Apple since September 2025, focusing on building and optimizing systems software for Apple’s custom SoCs. Prior experience includes roles as a Full Stack Developer and UX Designer at the Human-Computer Interaction Lab at Santa Clara University, where Gaurav developed an award-winning app tool, and as a Research Intern in Compilers & Parallel Processing at Santa Clara University, creating performance models that achieved significant speedups. Gaurav also interned as a Software Engineer at Cadence Design Systems, optimizing website performance for users in China, and as a Software Developer at Interactive Brokers, developing a multi-threaded Java application for customer management. Gaurav holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from KJ Somaiya College of Engineering.
