Heba Hamouda is the Chief Compliance Officer at Apple. Prior to joining Apple, they were an attorney at Dentons from September 2004 to October 2008, where they were a member of the Diversity Committee and the Recruiting Committee. Heba also tutored at Sonnenschein Charter School as part of the After School Tutor Program.
Ms. Hamouda has experience drafting, reviewing, and revising asset purchase agreements, stock purchase agreements, as well as operating, employment, transition services, financing, and license agreements. Heba has also conducted and managed due diligence reviews and draft due diligence memos. In addition, they have experience in general corporate governance, including drafting of company board resolutions and certificates, board minutes, certificates of incorporation, bylaws, legal opinions, and client memoranda.
Ms. Hamouda has experience drafting appellate briefs in front of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Heba has also drafted master service agreement, statement of work, call center agreement. Her pro bono representation included asylum cases as well as other immigration matters. Tasks included drafting briefs and motions, and appearing before the immigration court.
Ms. Hamouda has also served as counsel to Chicago Loop Alliance. Tasks included drafting a variety of agreements, including service agreements, employment agreements, joint ventures, partnership agreements, and general corporate counsel.
Heba Hamouda attended Glenbard West High School. Heba then went on to study Accounting and Finance at Indiana University Bloomington and Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, earning a Bachelor of Science in both fields. Finally, they obtained their JD from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Heba is also a Certified Public Accountant.
