Igor Stamenov

Igor Stamenov is a Senior Display Exploration Engineer at Apple, currently pushing the envelope on new and exciting optical systems. Previously, they conducted extensive research as a graduate student in the Photonic Systems Integration Laboratory at the University of California, San Diego, and later served as a post-doctoral researcher focused on large-scale monocentric imaging. Igor has also held roles at Samsung Research America as a Staff Optical Engineer and led the optics and electronics laboratory at Petnica Science Center. They earned a PhD in Photonics from UC San Diego and hold degrees in theoretical and experimental physics and electronics from the University of Belgrade.
