Jagannadan Varadarajan

Jagannadan Varadarajan is a seasoned professional in the fields of artificial intelligence and machine learning, currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Apple since August 2020. Prior to this role, Jagannadan held various positions at Grab from May 2017 to August 2020, including Head of Data Science, Data Science Lead, and Senior Data Scientist, focusing on machine learning and mapping technologies. Jagannadan's career also includes a tenure as a Research Scientist at the Advanced Digital Sciences Center, specializing in higher-level semantic mining from data logs, and a role as a Research Assistant at Idiap Research Institute, where research centered on novel algorithms for automatic discovery and analysis of activities from videos.
