Jaydeep Katre

Jaydeep Katre has extensive experience in manufacturing engineering, highlighted by roles at Apple and Rivian. At Apple, from August 2022 to January 2025, Jaydeep served as a Manufacturing Process Engineer and Program Lead for iPad Display, following an earlier position as an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer focusing on iPhone FATP and sub-modules from September 2016 to October 2020. At Rivian, from October 2020 to August 2022, Jaydeep worked as a Senior Engineer in Manufacturing Engineering for the Body Shop. Jaydeep began a career in robotics as a Roboticist at Transcend Robotics from July 2015 to September 2016 and gained valuable design experience as an intern at Tata Technologies in 2013. Educationally, Jaydeep holds a Master’s Degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
