Ji Liu

Ji Liu is a Senior Manager of Battery Algorithm and Modeling at Apple, where they lead a team in researching and developing advanced battery management algorithms for all Apple products. With over five years of experience in dynamical control, estimation, and physics-based modeling, Ji has applied their expertise in various areas, including lithium-ion battery systems and electric vehicles. They previously interned at Bosch North America and served as a teaching assistant and research assistant at Penn State University. Ji holds a Master’s and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University, along with a Bachelor’s degree from South China University of Technology.
