Jinhui Yang

Jinhui Yang is a multi-disciplinary expert in materials science, optical coating, data science, and machine learning, holding a PhD with over 10 years of industry experience in research and development. They worked as a materials postdoc at Berkeley Lab from 2013 to 2015, where they innovated thin film coating techniques and published papers in top journals. Currently, they serve as a Senior Optical Engineer at Apple, while their previous roles include Senior Research Scientist at VIAVI Solutions and Senior Data Scientist at Baker Hughes, where they developed anomaly detection models and led significant projects that contributed to substantial revenue and cost savings. Jinhui also holds degrees from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, University of Science and Technology of China, and has gained international experience as a visiting student at The University of Tokyo.
