Kevin Miao currently serves as a Machine Learning Research Engineer at Apple, where responsibilities include investigating novel machine learning techniques and productizing them. Kevin has extensive experience in academia, having taught over 1,000 undergraduate and graduate students as an Adjunct Lecturer at UC Berkeley College of Computing, Data Science, and Society, and held various roles in teaching assistance and curriculum development. In addition, Kevin contributed as a Graduate Student Researcher at Berkeley Artificial Intelligence Research and completed internships focusing on backend engineering, including work on a deep learning pipeline aimed at addressing parking nuisance at Felyx. Kevin holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, both from the University of California, Berkeley.
