Mailess Phiri

Mailess Phiri has a diverse research and professional background, including experience as a Research Assistant at SMART Mentoring, focusing on female politicians in Africa, and as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, analyzing data on security institutions. As a Research Intern at The Learning Design Group, transcribed extensive student interviews to enhance STEM curricula in California schools. Mailess founded the Youth Impact Group to raise awareness about COVID-19 and works as a Fundraising Intern at The Lawrence Hall of Science, conducting donor research and managing data migration. Since March 2021, Mailess has served as an Engineering Program Manager at Apple and has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Economics and Policy from the University of California, Berkeley.
