Melita Kahrmann

Melita Kahrmann is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communications and event management. Currently serving in the Office of the CTO at Applied Materials since January 2021, Melita has successfully delivered high-impact programs and marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness and engagement. Prior to this role, Melita spent over 12 years at Cisco in various capacities, including Marketing Manager and Project Specialist, where responsibilities encompassed project management, communications planning, and event execution for large-scale events. Melita’s career includes significant administrative support roles at Philips Lumileds Lighting Company and BearingPoint, contributing to operations and executive-level management. Melita holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from San Jose State University and an Associate's degree in Communications Studies from Mission College.
