Pamela Chen

Pamela Chen is the Chief Aesthetics Scientist for Camera and Photos at Apple, where they lead aesthetics science initiatives. They previously held roles as a Fulbright Scholar and a staff photojournalist with notable publications, including National Geographic and the New York Times. Pamela served as a senior photo editor for National Geographic Magazine, where they launched the magazine's Instagram account and directed significant multimedia projects. They were also a Stanford JSK-HAI Fellow, dedicated to improving visual experiences in the age of technology. In addition, Pamela has contributed to organizations like the Open Society Foundations and serves on the board of the Magnum Foundation.
