Peter Zalar

Peter Zalar is a Senior OLED Device Engineer at Apple, specializing in OLED displays, organic electronics, and printed/flexible sensors, drawing from over a decade of international experience in the US, EU, and Japan. They previously served as a Senior Research Scientist at Holst Centre, leading projects on printable sensors and flexible electronics, and have held academic roles at the University of Tokyo and UC Santa Barbara, where they mentored students and conducted research on organic electronic devices. Peter earned a Ph.D. in Materials Chemistry from UC Santa Barbara, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, and completed a Japanese Language class at the University of Tokyo.
