Rakesh Patnaik

Rakesh Patnaik is an experienced engineering and technical manager with a robust background in cloud solutions, software development, and architecture. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Apple since August 2018, Rakesh has also held significant roles at AT&T as an Openstack Architect/Technical Manager and at Lead IT Corporation as a Cloud Solutions Architect. Rakesh's earlier career includes positions such as Senior Principal Engineer at Liquidity Services, SOA Solutions Architect at Rackspace Hosting, and Senior Java/J2EE Developer at Zappos.com. Rakesh began in software development as a Java Developer at Oracle Corporation and Alcatel-Lucent. Rakesh obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (2019-2023) and a B Tech in Computer from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad (2000-2004).
