Richard K.

Richard K. is an experienced engineer currently serving as an Engineering Program Manager at Apple, where they manage prototype builds for the Apple Watch display. Previously, they worked as a Senior Hardware Engineer at Synaptics Incorporated, playing a key role in bringing the first in-display biometric fingerprint scanner to market and generating multiple patents. Richard began their career as a Research Engineer at Xerox, where they led a team in developing advanced opto-electronic devices and contributed to numerous patents and technical publications. They hold a Ph.D. in Engineering and a B.Eng. in Materials Engineering from McMaster University.
