Richard Locke

Richard Locke serves as the Vice President and Dean at Apple University since January 2023. Prior to this, Richard held the position of Provost at Brown University from July 2013 to December 2022, where Richard also served as a Professor and Director of the Thomas Watson Institute for International Studies. Richard's academic career includes a long tenure as a Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from July 1988 to June 2013. Richard obtained a PhD in Political Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between January 1984 and December 1989 and completed a Master's in Education at the University of Chicago in 1990.
