Savina Xu

Savina Xu is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in web development and application design. Currently employed at Apple since June 2020, Savina previously held software engineering roles at Fleetsmith and Homestay, where leadership was demonstrated by directing a team to create a user-friendly homestay booking application. A history of developing over 40 web applications as a full stack developer at UC Berkeley Extension showcases Savina’s capability in both front-end and back-end development. Prior work as a web developer at Arclight Network involved designing a mobile-first online shopping website. Savina's educational background includes a Full Stack Developer Certificate from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master's degree in Web Design & New Media from the Academy of Art University, and a Bachelor's degree in Exhibition Management and Economy from the Shanghai Institute of Technology. Prior to a software career, Savina practiced as a cardiologist, performing nearly 3,000 pacemaker insertion surgeries.
