Shaobo Fang

Shaobo Fang is a Senior Imaging and Computer Vision Research Engineer at Apple since February 2020, focusing on enhancing camera experiences. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Scientist at the Palo Alto Research Center (PARC) from October 2018 to February 2020, where work centered on image synthesis utilizing generative adversarial networks (GANs). Shaobo Fang also contributed to research as a Graduate Research Assistant at Purdue University from January 2014 to August 2018, developing a comprehensive pipeline for estimating food energy values from images. Additionally, Shaobo Fang held the position of Graduate Teaching Assistant, supporting courses and coordinating lab sections. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University, completed in 2018 and 2016, respectively.
