Tharanga Jinasundera

Tharanga Jinasundera is an experienced leader in hardware technology engineering with a strong background in laser processing and thin film deposition. Since November 2013, Tharanga has held various roles at Apple, advancing from Engineering Manager to Director, focusing on panel processes and optic technologies. Prior to Apple, Tharanga worked at First Solar, where responsibilities included managing critical thin film deposition and laser engineering processes in high-volume manufacturing. Earlier experience includes research at Jefferson National Lab, where Tharanga developed advanced laser systems, and roles at Quantronix Corporation, focusing on laser applications for industrial and scientific uses.
