Virat Bhatia

Virat Bhatia is an experienced executive with a notable background in strategy and policy, currently serving as Managing Director at Apple since January 2018. Prior to this role, Bhatia held significant positions at AT&T from 1994 to 2017, including Regional President for AT&T South Asia and Chairman of AT&T India, where leadership in establishing the AT&T brand in the Indian market was pivotal following the liberalization of the telecom sector. Early career highlights include serving as Manager of Corporate Communications at Coca-Cola India during the brand's re-entry into the Indian market in 1993. Bhatia holds a B.A. in Economics from Delhi University and has further education from Harvard Kennedy School, Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, and The Wharton School.
