Wentao Li

Wentao Li is a highly skilled optical film engineer currently working at Apple since August 2022. With a PhD in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.S. in Polymer Science and Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China, Wentao has accumulated extensive experience in both academic and industrial settings. This includes positions as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Science and Technology of China and a Teaching Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. At Eastman, Wentao held various levels of responsibilities, including leading root cause analysis of material failures, improving manufacturing processes, and co-inventing innovative polymer and optical materials. Contributions to research have resulted in multiple publications and inventions in the field of polymer and materials science.
