Líadhain Canavan has a diverse work experience in various legal roles. Líadhain joined Applegreen in 2020, where they initially served as the Group General Counsel and Group Company Secretary before being promoted to the role of Chief Legal Officer and Group Company Secretary in 2023. Prior to Applegreen, they worked at Arthur Cox LLP as a Corporate M&A Lawyer from 2007 to 2020. In 2013, they had a brief stint at eir Ireland as a Legal Counsel through a client secondment. More recently, they also became the Country Representative for Ireland at ACC Europe in 2022.
Líadhain Canavan has a Master of Laws degree from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), a Bachelor of Laws degree from Trinity College Dublin, a Diploma in Commercial Arbitration from University College Dublin, and has been admitted to the Roll of the Law Society of Ireland. Additionally, Líadhain Canavan has an Advanced Diploma in Corporate, White Collar and Regulatory Crime from The Honorable Society of King's Inns. The education history also includes a Leaving Certificate from Loreto College, St. Stephen's Green.
