Ronan Ryan

Ronan Ryan has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Ronan began their career as a Senior Quantity Surveyor at Pierse Contracting in 1998 before moving on to work as a Commercial Manager at Galliford Try in 2001. In 2005, they joined Pierse Contracting as a Property Development & PPP Manager. Ronan then transitioned to Applegreen in 2006, where they served as the Applegreen / Pierse JV - PPP Bid Director until 2011. From 2011 to 2013, Ryan worked as a Development Manager at John Sisk & Son Ltd, followed by a role as Property Director at Royal BAM Group nv from 2013 to 2016. In 2016, they returned to Applegreen and held various positions including Head of Development, Group Head of Acquisitions, and currently serves as the Chief Investment Officer. Additionally, Ryan has been involved in educational and professional committee roles, serving as an Assistant Lecturer at Technological University Dublin since 2020 and as a SCSI Committee Member for the Planning & Development Professional Group at the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland.

Ronan Ryan has a diverse education history. Ronan completed their Executive Finance Leadership Program at The Wharton School in 2021. In 2013-2014, they pursued a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Finance at University College Cork and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Finance at the Irish Management Institute. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science in Real Estate from Technological University Dublin between 2006 and 2008. Ronan began their education journey by earning a Bachelor of Science in Construction Economics from Trinity College Dublin in 2000, followed by a Diploma in Construction Economics from Technological University Dublin. Additionally, Ronan Ryan has obtained multiple certifications throughout their career, including being a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland, a Chartered Planning & Development Surveyor, a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, and a Chartered Surveyor.
