Ryan Johnston

Ryan Johnston is currently the CEO of Applied Aeronautics, a position they have held for 8 years and 5 months. Ryan is responsible for growing the company from its startup phase to commercial production through the introduction of its key UAV products and ancillary subsystems. Additionally, they managed the market introduction of the company's initial flagship composite based UAV while upholding the key philosophy that quality and cost do not need to be directly correlated if managed correctly. Ryan has also led the company's oversees manufacturing expansion and distribution network.

Prior to their current role, Ryan was the CEO of Intrepid Minerals for 4 years and 10 months. In this role, they oversaw the group's activities including their portfolio of oil and gas assets. Ryan also managed acquisitions and divestitures.

Before their time at Intrepid Minerals, Ryan was the Executive Manager at Hancock Prospecting Pty Ltd for 2 years and 2 months.

Ryan Johnston studied Business Management and Finance at King's College London from 2003 to 2006. Ryan then attended Institut Le Rosey from 2001 to 2003. Ryan is currently studying Project Management at Central Institute of Technology.
