Bruna received her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 2021. Advised by Jennifer Linderman and Greg Thurber, Bruna's dissertation research involved evaluating antibody-drug conjugates distribution and efficacy in solid tumors. Her research experience includes mechanistic and stochastic modeling, as well as in vitro and in vivo mouse work to support and test simulation predictions. Prior to graduate school, Bruna received her BS in Chemical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University. Bruna is also an advocate for women and minorities in STEM and hopes to encourage the next generation of scientists.
