Silin Sa

Silin Sa is a highly experienced professional in the field of biotechnology and biomedical research, currently serving as the Director of Application at Applied Cells since October 2019, where responsibilities include leading reagent and assay development and instrument verification and validation. Previously, Sa held the position of Application Manager at Applied Cells and served as a Sr. Scientist at BD, focusing on cell isolation and analysis protocols. Academic experience includes a role as Life Science Research Professional 2 at Stanford University, where Sa led projects involving iPSC-derived endothelial cells, and earlier positions at UC Merced, Genitope, and Nektar Therapeutics, contributing to significant research initiatives. Silin Sa holds a PhD from the University of California, Merced, an MBT from San Jose State University, and a BS in bioengineering from South China University of Technology.
