Applied Computing Foundation
Aviral Mehrotra serves as the CTO and Co-Founder of Gravity, focusing on developing an innovative dating app, and also works as a Coding Coach for the Applied Computing Foundation, preparing students for computer science competitions and designing curriculum for the ACSL. Aviral has held various roles, including Software Engineering Intern at Taelor, where work included implementing Google SEO and analyzing data, and as a Teaching Assistant at Northwestern University, assisting in research and grading. Previous experience includes tutoring at Pyramid Academy for Gifted Youth, interning at Fermilab on a computer vision project, and contributing to WordLeap, an AI translation tool that gained significant user engagement. Aviral is currently pursuing education at the University of Chicago and is an AP Scholar with Distinction and a National Merit Scholarship Finalist.

Applied Computing Foundation
Applied Computer Foundation is a non-profit educational community driven to teach young innovators technology and entrepreneurship. ACF organizes technology experts and enthusiasts to teach and learn the latest technologies, including Web, AI, Game Development, Robotics, and more. ACF's current flagship program, the Startup Teams, organizes small teams of typically high-school-aged students to plan and execute software projects in service of a community, and/or for competitive entries into entrepreneurship competitions.
