Luciano Nakamura

Luciano Nakamura has a strong background in design and engineering in the automotive industry. Luciano is currently serving as the Chief Design Officer at Applied EV since September 2016. Prior to that, they held various roles at General Motors, including Advanced Design Manager from November 2014 to August 2016, Lead Designer at GMC Studio from January 2013 to October 2014, and Senior Creative Designer at Cadillac Studio from April 2009 to December 2012. Luciano also served as a Lead Designer at Advanced Architecture Studio from July 2008 to April 2009, Creative Designer at Performance Cars Studio from October 2005 to June 2008, and Class A Surface Sculptor (specialist) from August 2000 to October 2005. Luciano'scareer at General Motors started in January 1996 as a Technical Engineer, where they worked until July 2000.

Luciano Nakamura has a diverse education history. Luciano obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from FAAP - Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado, where they attended from 1996 to 2000. Prior to that, they attended Escola Técnica Federal de Sao Paulo from 1991 to 1995 and obtained a Technician degree in Mechanical Engineering. Later, from 2004 to 2005, they pursued a specialization in Advertisement and Graphic Design at Escola Panamericana de Artes. Lastly, they completed a Post Graduate program in Business Administration and Management, specifically in the automotive industry, at FEI from 2003 to 2006.
