Jan Sigve Søvik

Jan Sigve Søvik has held a number of roles in various companies since 2011. From 2011 to 2014, they were the General Manager and Owner of Geoin Consulting AS, a management consulting, marine operations consulting, and marine geophysical operations consulting company. During this time, they were also the Commercial Manager of Master & Commander AS, the Chair of the Board of Directors of Skipskompetanse AS, and the Sales and Marketing Consultant of METAS AS. From 2013 to 2014, they were the Project Manager of Masirah Oil Limited and the Consultant of Dahan Petroleum. In 2012, they were the Head of Marine Acquisition of MagSeis AS. From 2014 to 2016, they were the Business Development Director Norway of Applied Fiber LLC, introducing Applied Fiber products to the EU and Norwegian markets. Since 2020, they have been a Board Member of Applied Fiber Manufacturing and the Chair of the Board of Directors of PE Bjordal AS.

Jan Sigve Søvik received an Engineer's Degree from Ålesund Maritime Høgskole in 1985, studying Marine Engineering including Master Marine, Nautical Branch, Ålesund Marine College. Jan Sigve also received an Engineer's Degree from Ålesund Maritime Skole in 1982, studying Naval Officer, Nautical Branch, Ålesund Marine College.
