Bryan Dobson

Bryan Dobson is the Non-Executive Chairman at Applied Graphene Materials. Bryan has also served as a Non-executive Director at The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust from September 2010 to October 2016. Bryan was also the Chairman at Durham Graphene Science Ltd from April 2012 to November 2013. Prior to that, they served as the President Global Operations at Croda International Plc from October 2006 to December 2011. Bryan Dobson started their career with ICI Plc in 1978 and has held various research, manufacturing and commercial positions over their 28 years with the company. Bryan was promoted to Regional Director - Uniqema Europe in April 1996 and then to International Business Development Manager in January 1990. Bryan Dobson left ICI Plc in September 2006 to join Croda International Plc as President Global Operations.

Bryan Dobson has a Doctor of Philosophy from Newcastle University in the field of Organic Chemistry as well as a Ph.D. in Microbiological Chemistry from Newcastle University. Bryan also has a MA in Natural Sciences tripos from the University of Cambridge.
