Emily Z.

Emily Z. has worked in a variety of roles since 2016. Emily started their career as a Swim Instructor at Big Arms Swimmers, followed by an Undergraduate Research Assistant position at MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL). In 2017, they were a Research Intern at Instituto Superior Técnico, where they worked on the "Formation Control of Multiple Micro Aerial Robots" project. In 2018, Emily Z. held positions as an Active Safety Intern at General Motors, a Machine Learning Extern at Hosta Labs, and a Computer Vision and Machine Learning Engineer at MIT Driverless. In 2019, they were a Machine Learning Platform Intern at Cruise. In 2020, Emily Z. was a Camera Culture Researcher at MIT Media Lab and a Software Engineer Intern at Nuro. Emily is currently an Engineering at Applied Intuition.

Emily Z. attended Palo Alto High School from 2012-2016. Emily then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2016-2020. Most recently, they completed a Master of Engineering in Artificial Intelligence at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2021.
