Luke Khanlian

Luke Khanlian has over 20 years of work experience in design engineering and fabrication. From 1991 to 1994, they worked as a Mechanical Designer for Michael Burnett Productions. Luke then worked as a Mechanical Designer for Masters FX from 1994 to 1996, and for Amalgamated Dynamics Inc. from 1996 to 1999. Luke also worked as a Mechanical Designer and Fabricator for KNB Effects from 1997 to 1999. From 2000 to 2003, they worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer for C2 Robotics, where they were a Battlebots team member and competitor and designed and fabricated a paint stripping robot for the shipping industry. Luke then worked as a Design Engineer for Applied Minds Inc. from 2003 to 2006, and as a Design Engineer and Manager for LongNow Foundation from 2006 to 2014. Finally, they have been the Director of Design Engineering for Applied Invention since 2014.

Luke Khanlian attended The University of New Mexico from 1989 to 1991.
