Chinmay Deshpande P.e.

Chinmay Deshpande, P.E. is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in product design and development in the energy sector. Currently serving as Engineering Manager for Product Design at Energy Recovery, Inc. since January 2020, Chinmay leads a team of R&D engineers to innovate and deliver new products. Prior roles include Principal Technologist and Engineering Team Leader, where Chinmay successfully developed two new products from concept to field testing, and Senior Mechanical Engineer, responsible for designing and testing advanced O&G turbochargers. With a background as a Senior R&D Engineer at Flowserve Corporation, Chinmay has expertise in high-pressure systems and lube oil pressure compensation systems. Chinmay holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
