Ala Moradian

Ala Moradian, PhD, holds extensive experience in program management and research within the fields of engineering and technology. Currently serving as Director of DMTS Program Management for CAE & Digital Twin Initiatives at Applied Materials, Ala has also held roles such as Sr. MTS, Physicist/Scientist, and Sr. Staff R&D Engineer. Academic contributions include positions as an Adjunct Professor/Lecturer at UC Berkeley College of Engineering. Prior experience includes work as a Sr. R&D Engineer/Scientist in Product Innovation at Bausch & Lomb and as a Consultant R&D Engineer at Simulent Inc. Furthermore, Ala has served as a Sr. Research Engineer (Postdoctoral Fellow) at the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC). Academic credentials include a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Master of Liberal Arts in Business/Management from Harvard University.
