Boris Levant

Boris Levant is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in algorithms research and development. They served as the Core Algorithms Group Manager at Nova Measuring Instruments from 2011 to 2018, where they led a team in developing core technology components and machine learning solutions. Currently, Boris is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Ashkelon Academic College, teaching courses on algorithms and machine learning while supervising student projects. Additionally, they hold the position of Data Products Algorithms & Algo CTO Group Manager at Applied Materials, where they established a new group focused on algorithmic R&D leveraging large data sets. Boris's academic background includes a PhD in Applied Mathematics and an MSc in Mathematics from the Weizmann Institute of Science.
