Hosea Lai

Hosea Lai serves as the Senior Director of Culture of Inclusion (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) for APAC at Applied Materials since September 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Regional Director of Microsoft Philanthropies for Asia & the Pacific, where responsibilities encompassed managing digital skilling programs for underserved communities, and Head of Social Impact for APAC at LinkedIn, overseeing corporate philanthropy and employee engagement initiatives. Hosea's background also features leadership positions in corporate social responsibility and organizational development at IMC Pan Asia Alliance Group and the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre, where significant contributions to volunteerism in Singapore were made. Previous experience includes directing Habitat for Humanity's response to the Sichuan earthquake and managing partnerships with governments. Educational credentials comprise an Executive MBA from INSEAD, a Master's in Christian Studies from the Biblical Graduate School of Theology, and a Bachelor of Arts & Social Science in Social Work from the National University of Singapore.
