Ofer Amir

Ofer Amir is a Senior Mechanical Engineer with over twenty years of experience in developing complex semiconductor and solar panel manufacturing equipment. They possess extensive expertise in mechanical engineering design methodologies and project management, overseeing projects from concept to validation and final product support. Ofer has worked at Applied Materials since 2010, where they manage teams, develop key suppliers, and lead technical analyses of mechanical systems. Previously, Ofer contributed to both the Electroplating and Thin Film Solar groups at Applied Materials, focusing on the design and specification of manufacturing tools. They hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
