Paul Chhabra

Dr. Paul Chhabra rejoined Applied Materials in 2022 as Corporate Vice President of Global Supply Chain. He is responsible for leading the global commodity, purchasing, and supply chain planning functions supporting the semiconductor equipment business.

In his 18 years with Applied, Dr. Chhabra was instrumental in leading various operations and engineering organizations across Manufacturing, Product Management, and Product Development. He previously was COO for Ichor Systems and Vice President of Global Product Supply for Franklin Electric. Prior to Applied, he worked for Sunpower and GE in supply chain leadership and engineering roles.

Dr. Chhabra has a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Illinois, a master and Ph.D. degree in engineering from Purdue University, and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley. Throughout his academic career, Dr. Chhabra authored or co-authored several papers on materials processing and materials interface characterization.
